It is often said that the selection of an appropriate speaker system is the most critical decision in the design of any sound system. We agree.

The P.A. People do not take the responsibility of speaker system design lightly. In order to ensure that we present an appropriate solution we rely on a proven combination of experience, design tools and measurement.

We draw on over 30 years of practical implementation of sound reinforcement systems, from the simplest system requiring a single microphone for 50 people, to the complexities of designing a sound system that can be understood by a crowd of over 250,000.

There are many types of speaker in the market including ceiling speakers through traditional cabinets, columns, speakers designed to be used in arrays, speakers designed for fixed installation and those designed with portability in mind, powered cabinets and speakers with on board signal processing and amplifiers.

We utilise products from Bose, Creative Audio, EV, JBL, Peavey, Toa and Turbosound, hand selecting the products from each manufacturers’ range that best fit the users requirement. Our selection methodology incudes test and measurement, critical listening, suitability for application, and value for money.

We also supply associated systems such as Loudhailers, In Ear Monitors, Speaker Rigging and Simultaneous Interpretation equipment.
