Control Systems

The true value of a system is often only realised if the system is easy to use.

To achieve this goal Control Systems are often employed to provide a simple integrated user interface for a system.

The P.A. People are specialists in the design and provision of Control Systems. We have implemented a variety of user interfaces for clients as diverse as the Sydney Opera House, St Mary’s Cathedral, Stadium Australia, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Olympic Co-ordination Authority and many education facilities throughout Australia.

We are able to select from a wide range of appropriate technology from simple button controls, through touch screens and hand held remotes, to large scale client server systems.

Creative Audio LRM/LRS Systems
The simplest form of Control System is Creative Audio’s LRM/LRS series of wall plate controllers, designed to manage the powering up and down of a system, along with the selection of either a local or remote mixing source.

Hand held InfraRed Controllers
In many systems the provision and programming of a learning Infrared remote controller is all that is required to provide an integrated system.

AMX Axcess and NetLynx Control
The P.A. People have extensive experience in the implementation of systems using AMX control. These range from theatre automation, houses of worship, legislative assemblies and military installations.

Creative Audio ControlMatrix
At the upper end of the scale is Creative Audio’s ControlMatrix system. This system allows integration of a wide range of products under the control of a client server based PC platform. The system includes paging stations, wall plate controllers, and automated messaging systems.
