Control Systems
Many of the installations The P.A. People have executed use Creative Audio ControlNet systems to perform control functions. Often these systems are integrated with control surfaces, hiding the PC interface from the user. Some of these systems include:
- Schools of Distance Education, Queensland,
1992 - C++ on DOS
- Sydney Opera House Stage Managers and Paging Systems 1998- ControlNet with Media Matrix
- Stadium Australia, 1999 - ControlNet, Crown IQ and Media Matrix
- Homebush Bay Site Wide PA System, 2000 - ControlNet, Crown IQ, Media Matrix and MediaLon
Many of the products that Creative Audio designs rely on microprocessors and digital signal processors for their operation. These products include the ConcertCom range of entertainment intercom products and a host of RS485 controlled audio products and control accessories.
We are very familiar with AMX control systems and their integration with audio components via TCP/IP and serial control. We have over 100 AMX installations, many of which use custom interfaces that are transparent to the user.
The P.A. People have extensive experience in all aspects of the Crown IQ system. We use IQ for Windows software and Chris Dodds is one of only a few Australian IQ certified Systems Contractors.

The P.A. People are Australia's premier integrator of Peavey MediaMaxtrix systems, installed with and without serial and TCP/IP control interfaces. We are familiar with Peak Audio's CobraNet technology and its implementation with Crown and Peavey products, and Creative Audio is a CobraNet licensee.
