Public Precincts Home Page
In conjunction with our sister company Creative Audio, The P.A. People have provided a number of world leading sound reinforcement solutions for public precincts and buildings within New South Wales.
These sites include the two best known public spaces in Sydney Darling Harbour and Homebush Bay, both home to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Both of these systems, although implemented almost ten years apart, share common design goals:
- High quality distributed audio over a large public site
- Audio access to the system from a number of local inputs
- The requirement for high intelligibility announcements for crowd control
- A system based on state of the art amplification, control and monitoring
Our system in the popular shopping mall in Sydney's southern beachside suburb of Cronulla Plaza utilised spread spectrum radio technology to overcome what would otherwise have been a prohibitive cabling cost.
When Electritech and the Sydney International Airport required a comprehensive paging control and scheduled messaging system, they turned to The P.A. People and Creative Audio. The resultant system is the first airport application of Creative Audio’s ControlNet paging control system.
