Performing Arts Home Page
Over the years The P.A. People have provided a variety of systems and solutions for Australian performing arts venues.
These have included:
- Sydney Opera House - Replacement of Stage Manager's Desks and Paging Systems for NSW Public Works Department (completed 1998).
Design, Supply, Install and Commission integrated stage manager's systems for five venues, the Reception Hall, five rehearsal studios, four restaurants, six theatre bars, extensive foyer and lounge areas, 60 dressing rooms and suites and the Green Room. The solution incorporates paging systems, cue lights, video monitoring, message store and forward etc. The main audio paths include a Peavey Media Matrix under the control of Creative Audio ControlNet software.
- The Capital Theatre Refit, Sydney, for Glantree Engineering England (January 1995).
Supply, Install and Commission an integrated stage manager's desk system incorporating sound reinforcement, foyer paging, performance paging and work-light control systems.
- Sydney Conservatorium of Music, for University of Sydney (October 2001).
Design Supply, Install and Commission audio and audio visual systems for four auditoria including Verbruggen Hall, the Music Workshop and two Recital Halls.
