… The P.A. People notch up another year!
The Sun-Herald City2Surf, the worlds’ largest fun run, was once again an event with some interesting challenges. Moving 80,000 runners and spectators in and out of Sydney’s CBD and the iconic Bondi Beach tourist location, has its’ logistical issues. The P.A. People is a small but integral part of that substantial exercise.
… Our 7th year at this iconic event!
Campbell Waller, head of Event Communications for The P.A. People said: “this was another successful year, delivering the audio/comms solution for this significant event. In summary, two x 40’ semi-trailer loads of equipment, a three-week set-up, sixteen staff involved - and only one day of rain!
The P.A. People provided Arsenal game day assistance at ANZ stadium which included MC microphones and control for Arsenal vs Sydney FC (Thursday 13th July) & Arsenal vs Western Sydney Wanderers (Saturday 15th July). On Thursday 14th Arsenal held a fan day for approx 20,000 fans. The P.A. People provided the audio system, including 8 panel microphones (Shure UR4D) along with MC mic and IEM's. We also utilised the house PA as the crowed filled most of the Northern and Southern stands.
