The P.A. People through its manufacturing arm Creative Audio, has designed, manufactured and installed complete systems for both the Queensland and Northern Territory Schools of Distance Education.
Each site comprises between two and four studios fitted with operator controls, common central equipment and remote receiver and transmitter facilities.
There are many unique features of these systems that set them apart from their predecessors - in particular they strike a user friendly balance between the somewhat antiquated HF radio consoles and typical broadcast radio studio equipment.
The Creative Audio solution uses digital control of analogue techniques, Digital Signal Processing for improved signal to noise performance over the inherently bad HF radio channel, and automated control of the HF radio equipment.
