The P.A. People have designed and installed audio, audio visual, and video facilities for a number of Australia’s leading Convention and Exhibition facilities.

These facilities include:

• Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Supply and Install A/V Infrastructure, Audio and Video Equipment, Intelligent Lighting, and Convention Congress Systems for NSW Public Works and the Darling Harbour Authority (October 1999)
  This project comprised a number of separate but simultaneous contracts. The contracts included:
  
  • Supply and Installation of Audio Visual infrastructure systems including ceiling speakers, paging system, ninety intelligent light fittings and controllers cabling and patching, racks, etc;
    
  • Design, supply, and installation of Audio and Video equipment including six rear screen projection systems with mirror kits for both slide and video/data projectors including two 180” Fresnel screens, simple front projection systems, and
    
  • Design, supply, and installation of a 1000 seat conference discussion system with integral chip card voting facilities.
    
    
• PA Systems for Exhibition Halls and Pavilions at the New Sydney Showgrounds for Heyday Electric’s and others (December 1997)
  Design, Supply, and Install sound systems and hearing impaired facilities for four new Exhibition Halls and fifteen pavilions. All venues feature systems based on the Crown IQ system to allow future site wide control and monitoring of amplifiers mixers and speakers.
  
  
• Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Supply and Install Loose Audio Visual Equipment, for Leighton Contractors (April 1995)
  Supply and Installation of Audio Visual Equipment including fitout of a complete semi-professional Audio and Video production facility. The installation includes a six camera broadcast control room, a beta/SVHS/Umatic tape edit room, 24 track automated audio studio, a video graphics preparation area, and a control room facility based on a 32 x 32 way matrix switcher with fibre tails, standards conversion etc. The facility was first used for a live broadcast less than a week after scheduled commissioning.
  
  
• Ayres Rock Convention Centre, for Lend Lease (1992)
  Design, Supply and Install sound reinforcement, video projection and associated systems and infrastructure under the control of an AMX control System
